On Friday I got a call from this nice lady in Albany asking if I could make a group portrait for the NYSTA board during their conference here in Lake Placid at the High Peaks Resort on Tuesday. I checked the schedule and said sure, sounds like fun. So I get there and spend an hour or so setting up, and had the group in and out in about 15 minutes before the rain started to come down. I told them that I try not to do the traditional, everyone stand next to each other and take a picture for the post office, but have some fun. So we did a pretty straightforward shot, and one a little rockstar. I scurried back to the studio for some quick processing, emailed some proofs, and since they couldn’t decide which one they liked better, I printed one of each for all of them, delivered by the end of their dinner. Corporate photography can be fun!
